General Nursing and midwifery (G.N.M) is a basic field for the preparation of good nurses. In this Course nurse is prepared to perform her duty independently and unaided, with strength, will and knowledge of latest and modern techniques of nursing. In the institute a nurse is enlighted to think about the complete physical, mental, social and spiritual well being of all human beings irrespective of caste, colour, creed. race, age, religion and sex.

Multipurpose health workers / Auxiliary nurse and midwife(M.P.H.W./A.N.M.) is meant for providing the better health care to the community. she identifies health problems, needs and resources in the community and prepares the community in getting better health services. she is ready to provide treatment of minor ailments, skilled midwifery services and skilled child care services. A trained student is always ready to provide promotive and emergency health care to individual and community as per requirement. she plays a vital role in rural health are delivery system. She is ready to provide accessible, equitable, affordable, and positive and quality health care in order to achieve the goals of “National Rural Health Mission".
